ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP
All students who have been admitted to Vijaya College Jayanagar (erstwhile BHS First Grade College) between 1989 till date and have completed/dropped out of the course are eligible to become members of the BHS VCJ Alumni Association. Please note that Students currently studying in Vijaya College Jayanagar cannot apply for membership to the BHS VCJ Alumni Association till their Sixth Semester.

REGISTRATION FEES
The subscription fee for life membership is Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) shall be paid in a single instalment, and the entry fee for special programmes like Alumni Meet, General Body Meeting etc. is Rs. 200/- (revised from time to time).
OFFLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Collection of Registration Form: Obtain the Offline Registration Form from the College Office, Alumni Office, or designated lecturers by paying the registration fee.

Designated Lecturer: Prof. R R Lakshmi (Department of Commerce) is the designated lecturer for the current academic year.

Accepted Modes of Payment: The registration fee can be paid using Cash or UPI.

Completion of Application Form: Complete the Application Form.

Photograph Affixation: Affix a recent passport-size photograph to the form.

Proof of Identity: Attach one document from the list of acceptable ID proofs.

Proof of Enrollment at Vijaya College Jayanagar: Attach one document from the list provided above that verifies your enrollment at Vijaya College Jayanagar (formerly BHS First Grade College).

UPI Payment Reference: If the registration fee is paid through UPI, kindly include the payment reference number on the application. Please note that we do not have a comprehensive refund procedure for multiple payments. Therefore, we request that you exercise due diligence to avoid multiple payments.

Submission of Application: Submit the completed application form along with the attachments to the designated lecturer(s).

Receipt of Membership Fee: Receive the counterfoil as the Membership Fee Receipt.

Submission of Additional Documents: If you do not possess the required documents at the time of completing the application, you may email them to info@bhsvcjalumni.org. Ensure to include the Application Number (Registration Form Number) in the subject line. If the necessary documents are not received within 60 days from the date of application, your membership application will be rejected without a refund.

Payment of Membership Fees: Members are required to pay a membership fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) using the QR Code provided. Please ensure to include your college registration number in the payment description.

Completion of Online Registration Form: Please complete the online registration form using the link provided in the subsequent section.

Payment Reference Number: Ensure that the payment reference number is accurately entered in the designated field on the registration form.

Photograph Upload: Upload a recent passport-size photograph.

Proof of Identity: Attach one document from the list of acceptable ID proofs.

Submission of Application: Submit the completed application form.

Scrutiny of Application: The application and accompanying documents will be scrutinized by designated college staff. Applications that do not pass scrutiny are liable to be rejected without a refund.

Approval and Membership Processing: Once the application is approved by the college, the BHS VCJ Alumni Association will process your membership. A welcome letter and membership card will be sent through ordinary post if the address provided is within India. It will typically take us approximately 30 days from the date of application approval to dispatch the welcome letter through ordinary post. For members residing outside India, the welcome letter will be sent via email approximately 30 days from the date of approval of the application by the college, and the membership card may be collected from the college office when you visit India.
